Pastor Darryl and Lisa Davis
In September of 2004, Elder Darryl Davis and his wife, Lisa Davis left the city of Washington, D.C. and arrived here in Kansas City, Kansas to assume the roles of Pastor and First Lady for Christ Temple Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. Prior to his arrival here in Kansas City, Elder Davis was an Associate Minister with First Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. located in Washington, D.C. Elder Davis is a born again, spirit filled preacher and teacher of the Gospel. He received his call and commission by God at a very young age, to go forth and spread the good news of the gospel by becoming a Fisher of Men. Elder Davis has been involved in the ministry on many levels. He has served in the positions of Assistant Minister, Associate Minister, as a weekly television co-host along with his wife, a weekly radio co-host, Guest Speaker, as well as conducting numerous Bible Studies, both in-home as well as work-based studies. Elder Davis has performed several workshops on topics such as Witchcraft, Preparing for Marriage, The Occult and Magic as well as motivational presentations per request. He is the co-founder along with his wife of CrossCrown Ministries which is an outreach effort geared toward spreading the Word of God and bringing together the Body of Christ. Elder Davis is also the author of the book entitled, "This Gift of Life."
With the help and assistance of First Lady Lisa Davis, they produced the weekly television program "CrossCrown Ministries Presents" which aired for approximately three years in the greater Kansas City area. As her husband, Sister Lisa Davis is dedicated to the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She firmly understands that often it is more important to be a visible example of what one professes to believe, than to attempt to convince people primarily by the words of one's mouth. Sister Davis serves in many capacities within the Church, including as Minister of Music and Church Secretary. She is also an accomplished vocalist and journalist. First Lady Davis also influences, motivates and shapes the minds of our future generations as an English Teacher for the Kansas City Public School District. Her warmth and sincere spirit are truly assets which bless us all. Together, Pastor and First Lady Davis are dedicated to engage the enemy daily in order that they might dispel the myths and falsehoods put forth by Satan and false teachers of the gospel.
